Counselling Relationships can help you to enrich your life and interpersonal relationships by supporting you as an individual to become conscious of personal patterns, needs and wants in relationship. I consider an individual and their developmental history, their significant relationships and environmental influences. Therefore my therapy is also trauma informed with an understanding of developmental psychology and the neurobiology of attachment needs in relationship.
I also work with couples to understand how to deal with challenges and obstacles such as communication and intimacy that are inherent in relationship dynamics. I am a Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with a Medicare Provider Number. Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are able to provide ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ to eligible people with a diagnosed mental disorder (such as anxiety or depression) under the Better Access to Mental Health initiative. You can obtain a referral to see me from a Medical Practitioner (GP). My legal name is Deborah Isgrove for the referral and my nick name is Dana which I prefer to be called in everyday life.
